Misha & Puff Journal
We are SO excited to share the story of talented photographer Claire Guarry, who brought you all those dreamy editorial pictures from our Summer 19 Capsule Collection. Thank you Claire! And special thanks for sharing these beautiful images of your family in our Spring Collection.
Claire was born and raised in a tiny village in the south of France where she enjoyed a free and simple childhood close to nature and rooted in community. Daughter of an art restorer and antique dealer who used to shoot polaroids, she grew up surrounded by beautiful things from the past. Always curious and avid for novelty though, she left her beloved hometown at the age of eighteen to explore new routes and lived in London, Barcelona, San Francisco, Bordeaux and Buenos Aires.
She is now in San Francisco with her partner David and their three children Anton, born in the heart of Buenos Aires 2 years ago, Elión Marcel, 6, born in Bordeaux and Lou Blanca, 8, native of the mission district in San Francisco.
Claire is a self-taught photographer whose work reflects her desire to encapsulate life in the most aesthetic and raw way as possible.
Come, join us and enjoy a peek in Claire’s world.
Introducing Misha & Puff summer capsule collection shot in lovely Northern California. Classic styles you know and love in a new lighter weight cotton, keeping your little ones comfortable in sweltering, summer weather.
We picked our favorite summer styles from past seasons and knit them up in gentlest, muted colors so close to natural. Think of colors bleached from the sun or a watercolor painting with soft tones.
Along with our own collection, we are so excited to introduce our friend brands:
Wovenplay from Brooklyn with their classic, playful styles
Ketiketa from Paris with their soft, breezy styles
Sons + Daughters Eyewear from Canada with their fun, stylish sunglasses
Check out our summer editorial! Aah…lazy, dreamy summer days are finally here!
Thank you team for making our summer editorial so special!

Color has always been a huge inspiration for us. It’s how we start every collection, color first. We imagine ourselves as painters, composing a painting - and ask, how will it all come together when you wear it?
Color can change your mood (and inspire others). We are connected to it on visceral level.
Our new collection palette was inspired by the early signs of spring.
That magical time when nature is just waking up, stretching out - thirsty and alive.
The purple of tough little crocuses poking out of hard dirt
The blaze of orange of the California poppy
Moss on the forest floor
Black walnut, the color of wet bark
String, the perfect neutral - the color of antique linen drying on the line.
Enjoy our spring collection.
And know that the work we do is kind to nature, too. We use organic pima cotton, grown in Peru and a hand dyed process that uses low impact dyes. As well, creating the highest quality goods in this slow way is kind to the earth. Longevity is sustainability. Creating future heirlooms is sustainable. Investing in the lives of artisans is sustainable. We hope you love the collection and can feel all the love that goes into making Misha & Puff special.
