French photographer Nina Davidson, her husband, and four girls, have settled in a little house in rural Scotland, located on the farmland belonging to the family for generations.
Nina’s work is about capturing these fleeting moments of life. Focusing on the light, expressions, movement — all the little things that are easily unnoticed, finding poetry and beauty in them.
“Simple spring days in Scottish Yarrow Valley. Attending to the garden, the animals, giving and receiving cuddles. Getting dirty, laughing. These are the things I want to remember,to fix in time through my photos. Witnessing the freedom and spontaneity of childhood, uncomplicated, true.”
