WHERE WE MAKE THINGS TODAY

PERU — We started with a small group of 10 women in a knitting cooperative. Today, this partnership is a thriving community, numbering in the hundreds, of (mostly) women-supported and women-owned businesses that we work with year-round.

INDIA — We source organic fabrics that meet our high standards of quality and work with small vendors on projects, such as traditional Indian hand block printing techniques and embroidery, which require years of experience to master.

JAPAN — We use the highest quality denim from Japan, handcrafted by skilled artisans who blend traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques. Our focus is on small productions with special details that showcase the history and craft.

PORTUGAL — We work with a family-run business that is certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard, reflecting European heritage and quality.

NEWBURYPORT — Our historic seaside home, where you can smell the ocean from our front door. Our small flagship store is located here so that Anna, our Creative Director, can ride her bike over.
