Building a Generational Shop

For Father’s Day this year, we asked Chris, founder of Ven. Space, a curated menswear company, to share a glimpse into life lately.

A store is often more than a place of business — it becomes part of everyday family life. In this reflection, Chris writes about introducing his children to the world of craftsmanship, the joy of seeing their curiosity firsthand, and the hope of building something that can be passed from one generation to the next.

I love having my kids pop by the shop after school. It’s so cool that they are curious about the product and where it comes from and how it’s made.

Last summer was really special because we got to visit a knitwear factory that makes our in-house sweaters.

I am so proud to be able to share those types of moments with them.

A big part of having the shop, is having something tangible that my kids can be apart of someday. A dream of mine would be to work along side of them in the future.
