“Hanny is our Benjamin, she is determination itself. She makes us reconsider what is truly important in life when she blissfully draws on a paper invoice we left on the table, because we meant to tend to it later. She has twinkles in eyes while doing so. Forever in awe of anything and everything her big sister does and says. She melts our hearts every time she shares, without any hesitation, everything that is offered to her. Quarter of a cookie pressed firmly into our mouths. She is our invincible little general. My heart.
Josephina, our Eldest daughter. The etymology of her name, I learnt recently, is 'god provides and makes better' and boy did she make us better. She is the greatest gift ever given, I am incredibly lucky to behold this hefty creative force, her sensitivity and the grace with which she carries herself. Just this evening she shouted, embracing us, 'I am so happy with the choice I made!' But I’m the one, in fact, who is forever so happy that she chose us. Josephina is pure and godly, and my greatest teacher.
They are both in every beat of my heart.”
