Description

The Bonsai Sunsuit and Bonnet are a beautiful pair of patterns from our archive. Each has special, delicate details that add a vintage touch to sweet silhouettes.

Included patterns:

The Bonsai Sunsuit is inspired by vintage bathing suits. It's the perfect open-backed outfit for sunkissed shoulders and dimpled knees. The bottoms are worked from the waist down in the round; the bib is picked up from the waistband and shaped with simple decreases to the straps. A beautiful excuse to learn short row shaping and Kitchener stitch.

The Bonsai Bonnet is a sweet summer bonnet with a pixie peak at the top of the head. Seed stitch stripes create a beautiful all-over texture. This bonnet is worked flat, then seamed up the back and finished with I-cord ties.

This is a downloadable PDF. After purchase you will receive an email with a link to the ebook in printable PDF form.

INTRODUCING THE DENIM COLLECTION

Handcrafted in Japan by skilled artisans, we use the highest quality Japanese denim and time-honored techniques, upholding responsible manufacturing methods that honor both people and the environment. Each piece is meticulously crafted, undergoing nearly 100 steps to produce one garment.

All of our denim is 100% cotton, with thoughtful touches, like contrast topstitching, hand-tacked embroidery instead of rivets to optimize softness, and adjustable waistbands and straps for long-wear and the perfect fit.

Designed for comfort and made for long wear — this denim can be worn often, worn in, and passed down.

INFINITE VARIATIONS — THE MAGIC OF HAND-DYE

Our hand-dyed Superwash Merino wool is sustainably and ethically crafted by skilled artisans in Peru using premium natural fibers and low-impact dyes. This yarn is truly special, with each strand unique due to the hand-dye process, introducing subtle nuances to every garment. The hand-dyed variation and natural patterns the yarn creates when knit mean no two garments are the same, and that’s exactly why we love it. With this process, we embrace unpredictability and celebrate the presence of the hand.

For those reasons, we can’t guarantee that the Space Dye garment you receive will have a pattern close to those pictured, but it will truly be a one-of-a-kind heirloom.
